Dr Kwakye Ameyaw, Technical Advisor to Chief Executive of the Forestry Commission (FC), has asked members in forest fringe communities to lead the fight against illegal activities in the country’s forest reserves.
A Makerspace platform that is expected to boost research and the digitisation drive of the country has been launched by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research’s Institute for Scientific and Technological Information (CSIR-INSTI) in Accra.

She said “though we’re living in the man’s world, female scientists are trying to break the glass ceilings, as some achievements of female scientists are glossed over.
The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is spearheading a four-year partnership project, which seeks to apply water-smart solutions such as recycling to recover resources from waste water for reuse.
